Kinetic Chain Release

What is Kinetic Chain Release (KCR)?
Kinetic Chain Release is a simple extremely effective bodywork protocol based on the premise that leg length differences generate imbalance throughout the entire body. Developed by Scottish Physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert, KCR is a unique system of mobilizations and stretches which correct the apparent leg length difference and bring about balance quickly and easily. When the physical body is brought into alignment many existing and physical dis-abilities or discomforts simply disappear instantly, where other forms of treatment have proven unsuccessful. This simple procedure, preformed while the client is fully clothed, on a massage or treatment table is revolutionizing physical rehabilitation. KCR frequently provides a high degree of relief and even instant resolution, in many cases, from pain and discomfort caused by conditions such as:

Chronic Back Pain

Fibromyalgia

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Wrist Pain and Weakness

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Migraine Headaches

Scoliosis

Teeth Clenching/Grinding

Tennis(golfer’s)Elbow

Behavioral Disorders in Children

Weak Ankles (frequently sprained)

Who Can Benefit from KCR?
Everyone from the very young to the aged can benefit from this amazing protocol. It has a profound effect on the human body. When KCR is performed on young children, their bodies have the opportunity to develop in a balanced and healthy way, preventing many physical discomforts which may bring complications in later life. Athletes from the everyday to the elite, use the KCR protocol to significantly enhance performance and maintain their edge, often achieving complete and lasting results in one session.
